There are several ways to become a member of Mt. Tabor United Methodist:
- Adults who want to unite with Mt. Tabor and who are members of other churches will join by transferring their membership. The membership secretary will handle the paper work involved in this transfer.
- Adults who want to unite with Mt. Tabor and have been baptized but have not belonged to another church will join by Profession of Faith. This consists of several questions to be answered in front of the congregation.
- Adults who want to unite with Mt. Tabor and have never been baptized will join by baptism and Profession of Faith. There will be several questions asked and answered in front of the congregation.

CONFIRMATION - Young people (usually in the 8th grade) may go through our Confirmation process which includes classes and activities that usually begin in January and conclude in May. Once confirmed, these young people become full members of our church. If a Confirmand was not baptized as an infant, then he or she will also be baptized at the Confirmation service.
