In addition to providing financial support for many area and global ministries, MTUMC members Go into our community and the world to serve those in need of help and hope.
At Mt. Tabor, we believe strongly that to be truly the body of Christ means we must be the hands of Christ to the world. Therefore we offer a wide range of ways to share God's love with others. Our service opportunities range from our partnership with a local elementary school, our annual Great Day of Service, our Angel Tree ministry, the local annual CROP Walk, support of Society of St. Andrew (hunger relief agency), to Disaster Relief Teams. We whole heartedly agree with John Wesley's injunction, the founder of Methodism, who boldly proclaimed, "The world is our parish!" If you feel called to serve, we have a place for you!
