For more than 10 continuous years, MTUMC members have gathered pledges and participated in the CROP Hunger Walk, which provides funds to fight hunger locally through Crisis Control Ministry and Sunnyside Ministry and globally through Church World Service.

We received 2 awards at the CROP Hunger Walk Recognition Awards Reception: "Top Ten Contributing Organizations" (we were #2) "Ten Years of Continuous Participation"
Statistics for Forsyth County: A record of $80,000 was raised for Crisis Control Ministry, Sunnyside Ministry, & Church World Service 1,300 walkers 9th in the nation out of 2,000 walks, & 4th in the southeast region 104 organizations participated
