Outreach Details

Samaritan Ministries provides a homeless shelter for men and a soup kitchen for the community.  It also houses the life changing Cornerstone Program.  MTUMC provided 60 new mattresses for the shelter.  We staff the overnight shelter for one week in September.  The Band of Brothers group also staffs the shelter one night a month.  A number of our members help serve lunch each week to 300-400 people.  Several MTUMC members serve on the Board of Samaritan Ministries. www.samaritanforsyth.org
