Mission Statement
The Children's Ministry at Mt. Tabor is one that values the spiritual uniqueness of children as we seek to provide a full array of opportunities for children to GATHER joyfully in worship and fellowship, GROW in spirit, and GO into their world and share their faith.

WORLD VISION
The children of Mt. Tabor sponsor two children from the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Through their Sunday school offering the children enable Deborah and Jeremie to have basic necessities including clean water, clothing, and to go to school.
The children of Mt. Tabor are the hands of Christ in our world.
A NEW WEDNESDAY NIGHT FOR ELEMENTARY CHILDREN
Wednesday nights have taken on a new look for elementary children! From 5:00-6:45 p.m. children in Kindergarten-5th Grade can come for an evening of music, Bible study, supper, and fun. The schedule will be as follows:
5:00-5:40 p.m. Younger Elementary Choir & Chimes
Older Elementary Bible Study
5:40-6:00 p.m. Both groups eat Supper with their Families
6:00-6:45 p.m. Older Elementary Choir & Chimes
Younger Elementary Bible Study
In addition to the regular Children's Choir rehearsals led by Becky Howard the boys and girls also have Children's Chimes, a new program that is being added and led by Susan Giles. A Bible Study, "The Way of the Child", especially for children is led by Judy Mahathey.
Parents all you have to do is bring your child at 5:00 p.m., eat supper with them as a family at 5:40 p.m., and then pick them up at 6:45 p.m. If you are interested in helping we do need adults to take the children to and from each activity. NURSERY HOURS OF OPERATION
SUNDAYS 8:30 a.m.-12:15 p.m.
WEDNESDAY MORNINGS 9:15 a.m.-11:45 a.m.
WEDNESDAY NIGHTS 6:15 p.m. - 8:45 p.m.
Wednesday morning and night child care must be scheduled.
Email the
office by 4:00 p.m. on Monday prior to needing it on Wednesday.
This must be done each week.
