There is a children's choir for all 4 year olds – 5th Graders at Mt. Tabor UMC.
Cherub Choir for 4 year olds and Junior Kindergarten age children. Beginning the 2nd Sunday in September, this choir meets each Sunday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Children's Choir Room. The children enjoy singing songs together and learning the basic elements of music. Mrs. Susan Giles is the Director of this choir.
Carolers Choir for Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd graders, learn the basics of music, hymns, songs, and anthems for worship, and enjoy many other musical activities. They sing in worship several times during the year, including the third Sunday in Advent. Beginning the first Wednesday in September, this choir meets from 5:00-5:40 p.m. in the Children's Choir Room. Ms. Becky Howard is the Director of this choir.
Celebration Singers for 3rd – 5th Graders, serves as the lead ensemble in the Children's Choir Program, and is the core ensemble when the choirs join together. They play a large role in the Spring Musical held in May. Beginning the first Wednesday in September, this choir meets from 6:00 – 6:45 p.m. in the Children's Choir Room. Ms. Becky Howard is the Director of this choir.
