BABYSITTING CO-OP The Foundation Class Babysitting Coop has 3 openings for families wishing to participate in the Babysitting Coop for the April 2010 - March 2011 year. We are a group of 11 families that meet on the first Saturday of the month (except December). Two couples are responsible for watching the children, while the other 9 couples have a date night. Each child brings a snack supper. We have time outside (weather permitting), a movie, craft and/or game time inside.   Our guidelines state that members of the Babysitting Coop must be members of or attend MTUMC. Children participating must be walking (no infants that are not stable on their feet). Mt Tabor Men's Outdoor Recreation Fellowship Mt. Tabor has organized an opportunity for the men of the Church to fellowship and enjoy God's great outdoors.  As we have had our various events we have found that the men participating in them may want to bring a child or spouse and that is welcomed. Women's Choir We're organizing a Women's Choir for UMW Sunday, March 21st.  The rehearsals will be during a portion of Chancel Choir rehearsals each week, as follows:  Thursday, March 11 – 7-7:45, Thursday, March 18 – 7:30-8:30.  We'd love to fill up the Choir loft, please join us ,contact Andrew at ext. 1011 or andrew.lejeune@mttaborumc.org if you have any questions  

Church Family Portraits are on Sale As part of our Reconnect focus, the church is taking orders for Mt. Tabor Family Portraits.  The cost for each Portrait is $10.00.  Please come by the office or mail in your check made payable to Mt. Tabor UMC.  (note: Family Portrait)  

 2009 PICTORIAL DIRECTORIES ARE HERE—FINALLY! For those who had pictures taken for the Directory, you may pick up your copy in the Fellowship Hall.  They are in boxes, labeled with names, and in alphabetical order.Those who did not have photos made may purchase a Directory for $10.  Come by the church office and see Debby or Paula.

Multi-site Update During the called church conference on  February 24th, the motion was passed to move forward with our multi-site ministry.  If you have any questions on the details of this ministry, we encourage you to read the documents on www.mttaborumc.org .  In the coming weeks some of us will feel called to join directly  in this mission to "help people find their way back to God."   We are currently in the process of finalizing how people  join the "seed team".  This will entail prayerful discernment, spiritual gifts assessment, willingness to join a "life group" and to reach out to the unchurched.    More details to follow in the next update. A team will also be meeting soon to discern how to "ReThink Church" in our current location.  This will entail reexamining what it means to follow Jesus in our current site.    In the meantime, please be praying for God's direction and your role in either this new campus or in the current location as we all seek to "Gather, Grow, and Go."
