"Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations... teaching them to obey everything that I’ve commanded you."
When Jesus was here on earth he spent time with every kind of person we can imagine. Some of his time was spent with children. Jesus said as we do it unto the least of these, we have done it unto him. He even instructed us to become like children. Maybe we can actually see Jesus when we see and are around children. We can certainly find qualities that we should emulate like humility and joy and laughter and belief and trust. Where is Jesus? Maybe he is present to us as we serve and minister to and otherwise are present to and with children.
As a church, we are called to teach children to learn about Jesus' love and ministry and equip them to be HIS disciples for the transformation of the world. Children are born with an innate sense of wonder and faith that is real and authentic. We are to provide a foundation of experiences on which children build a life of learning and growth toward a mature and vital faith.
TaborKIDS relies upon Servant Ministers to lead children in their faith journey. No skills or experience necessary, just a love of Jesus and His children. This servant ministry is open to all church members, not just parents. We need you... please prayerfully consider being a servant minister in one of the following ways:
