About

Benjamin House exists to provide donors, churches, and other groups an avenue to inspire hope across Uganda through the Gospel of Jesus Christ by transforming the lives of families and vulnerable children, preparing them for their futures, and building up the next generation of leaders.

There are the families that have fallen apart in Uganda, Africa. Children who are without parents, living on the streets of Kampala and sleeping on the sidewalks at night. Roughly 15,000 children live on the streets of Kampala. These children don't just need homes. They need a place to restore their hearts, souls, bodies, and minds.

Seeing this overwhelming need in the heart of Uganda, Benjamin House seeks to RESTORE FAMILIES through Transitional Homes. In these homes, orphans receive counseling and love from our social workers and House Parents. There are no more than 8 children in a home at one time and we aim to find a forever family for each child within 9-12 months. As they come of age, these children also receive job training and trade skills in order that they may start businesses that will enable them to be independent and contributing members of society.
