Worship Services

We are blessed at Mount Tabor to offer a variety of worship services as we seek to gather joyfully. There are opportunities to worship online or in person.

Modern Worship Service

In Person & Livestream Sunday Mornings at 9 AM in the Alspaugh Worship Center

Modern Worship is a community committed to authentic worship focusing on prayer and the word of God woven into every aspect of the service from music, images, and sermon.

Traditional Service

In Person & Livestream Sunday Mornings at 11 AM in the Sanctuary

The venue for traditional worship is the light-filled sanctuary of Mount Tabor UMC.  Worship involves the spoken words of the ancient creeds and holy scriptures, as well as congregational hymns from Martin Luther to Duke Ellington accompanied by the Cassavant pipe organ or grand piano.  Children, youth and adults participate in volunteer  choral and handbell ensembles, as well as liturgical movement, instrumental opportunities and visual arts.  Lay persons are also involved in serving the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
