IGNITE

Location: The Alspaugh Contemporary Worship Center

Time: Sunday Morning – 10:55 a.m.

Ignite is a contemporary service with emphasis on participatory worship, prayer, community, and transformation. We expect to experience God’s presence in worship, through contemporary worship songs, community prayer, and the proclamation of His word. As we draw nearer to God in worship, we pray God will equip and embolden each of us to be His hands and feet in our community and our world. In the spirit of God's bountiful hospitality, we welcome all to be part of this dynamic worship service.

Traditional Worship

Location: Sanctuary

Sunday Mornings – 11:00 a.m.

The venue for traditional worship is the light-filled sanctuary of Mount Tabor UMC.  Worship involves the spoken words of the ancient creeds and holy scriptures, as well as congregational hymns from Martin Luther to Duke Ellington accompanied by the Cassavant pipe organ or grand piano.  Children, youth and adults participate in volunteer  choral and handbell ensembles, as well as liturgical movement, instrumental opportunities and visual arts.  Lay persons are also involved in serving the sacrament of Holy Communion on the first Sunday of each month.
