Mount Tabor United Methodist Church Afterschool Care Program has been serving the community since 1984. With a highly trained and educated staff, we provide afterschool care Monday through Friday from 3 to 6 PM for children in grades Kindergarten through 5th Grade.

Our program serves Zone 5 Schools (including Jefferson Elementary, Sherwood Elementary, Speas Elementary and Vienna Elementary). Students are transported on a WS/FCS school bus to the program.
The purpose of the Mount Tabor UMC Afterschool Care Program is to provide:

a faith based, affordable, quality after school care that teaches the power of God's love for kindergarten through fifth grade children

an enhanced after school experience through devotions and Bible studies that will help a child grow spiritually and in their faith

activity-based learning that reinforces knowledge and skills needed for school as well as in life resulting in a child's success

a loving and nurturing environment that helps each child develop a sense of self-esteem, self-confidence, self-worth, and self-respect
